The terms depend on the stage and needs of the business. We get involved as early as $50,000 ARR and post $50 million. Our return (profit sharing, equity, warrants) is based on the speed and scale of the returns we deliver.
Companies with validated product - market fit and some CAC - LTV data. We like companies with SaaS models, not B2B or software necessarily, but solutions that work for 1 as well as they do for 100 million.
Know your customer; what they like, don't like, spend with you on average, how you acquire them and how much that costs. Clearly articulate your goals - why do you think you can generate $1b / year.
